It was an amazing afternoon of football at Ron Joyce Stadium yesterday. The hometown Marauders staged a final march down the field late in the 4th quarter, but ran out of luck and time and fell to the Gryphons 21-13. The game was a defensive battle with turnovers playing a role in the outcome later in the second half and special teams performances dictating the momentum from both teams. Guelph now moves to 2-2 and McMaster to 1-3 in the OUA standings.
